1. Sarova Shaba Game Lodge

(5 Hrs Drive – Nairobi – Nyeri – Nanyuki – Isiolo – Shaba)

“Shaba”as many would call it is a real Gem! It’s located in the middle of a desert in the northern part of Kenya. The game lodge is built around a natural terrain of the volcanic desert and has an oasis in it and some numerous beautiful natural springs that flow through the Lodge. There are so many activities that you will certainly enjoy; game drives, water polo, swimming, board games, or you could opt for a river side SPA treatment overlooking the Ewaso Nyiro River.

2. Mara Intrepids

(5 Hrs Drive – Nairobi – Mai Mahiu – Narok – Mara)

This is one of the most famous spots in the Maasai Mara as it serves as the location where leopards are spotted. It is close to the Mara River, where the Wildebeest migration takes place every year. If your timing is right, you will have a double experience of the migration and the busy road trip to the Mara Intrepids.

3. Voyager Ziwani

(4 Hrs Drive – Nairobi – Emali – Tsavo)

This 3* Plus camp is strategically placed with a magical view of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Voyager Ziwani is located on the western part of Tsavo, and is considered as one of the best bush camps in the region. There is a secluded dam on this camp, which is part of the Sante River. Here you will be able to see crocodiles, hippos and turtles. While at Voyager Ziwani You can take the much coveted night game drives in this sanctuary. No Park fees need! The camp has modern tents, which have all the necessary facilities, but still provide the bush experience. With the active Kids club.

4. Sweetwaters Tented Camp

(3 Hrs Drive Nairobi – Nyeri – Nanyuki )

This is a private wildlife conservancy located on the plains of Mount Kenya, in Nanyuki. This is part of Ol Pejeta and is a defined as a sheltered oasis. The central waterhole attracts wildlife and the scenery is breathtaking. You will find all the big animals and some of the world endangered animals in this conservancy with much ease. You can take night game drives and guided bush walks. Camel trekking is also part of the activities that you can enjoy in the bush. Sweetwaters Tented Camp will never disappoint. Get ready for a memorable Safari.

5. Ashnil Samburu Camp

(5 Hrs Drive – Nairobi – Nyeri – Nanyuki – Isiolo – Samburu)

Ashnil Samburu Camp sits in Buffalo Springs Game Reserve which takes its name from an oasis of crystal clear water at the western end of the reserve. It is separated from Samburu National Reserve by Ewaso Nyiro River and is less hilly and dense yet equally very attractive. There are a total number of 30 luxury tents; 18 doubles, 9 with twin beds and 3 with triple beds. Each of the exclusive comfortable deluxe tents provides a perfect view of the Ewaso Nyiro River and beautiful surrounding landscape
