President Uhuru Kenyatta held talks with fellow Heads of State and various leaders on the Continent on the sidelines of the celebrations to mark the 50th anniversary of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP).The visiting leaders included Presidents Mokgweetsi Masisi (Botswana) and Muhammadu Buhari (Nigeria) as well as Prime Minister Felix Moloua of Central Africa Republic and Vice President Philip Mpango of Tanzania.At the meeting held at the UNEP headquarters in Gigiri, Nairobi, the leaders commended Kenya for the leading role it has continued to play in environmental conservation and its achievements in combating climate change.Kenya is host to UNEP, the only UN headquarters in the global South.
